150th Battle of Gettysburg Commemorative Event
The National Park Service wanted to foster an emotional response from guests, while instilling its continued relevance today. We created a multi-media, theatrical program across three stages with dramatic readings of the writings from the day. The writings were taken from civilians, journalists, military men and government officials- all of whom emphasized their relationships as mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, sons and daughters. While the park expected about 5,000 guests, over 8,000 attended this remarkable experience to pay homage to our past.
